the hotel was a useful base for enjoying a residential area, short walk to beach and center of cabanas where restaurants and shops are, the old town & the strip, and beach and shops. the room overlooking sea was clean. it included kitchenette.

I really got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with a special mention to the sparkling clean toilet. The location was perfect, right in the center and just a short walk to the beach. The staff went above and beyond, especially the receptionist who made our stay even better with their helpfulness. Having a pool right outside our room was a lovely bonus too.

The only menu for breakfast improvement I would suggest is to have a wider variety of options.

The A22 motorway provides easy access to Faro International Airport, making travel convenient for guests. The beach in Altura is absolutely stunning, with its fine sands and clear waters, offering a peaceful and tranquil setting. The hotel's traditional Portuguese architecture adds a touch of elegance and charm to the overall aesthetic. Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The pool located in the center of the apartment block is pristine and provides a refreshing retreat for guests.

The air conditioner in the living room was not working.

We had a fantastic time visiting the golf courses in the surrounding area of Altura during our stay at Alagoa Azul. Just a short 10-minute drive away, we enjoyed playing at the beautiful Cacela, Tavira, and Castro Marim golf courses. The stunning views and well-maintained greens made our golfing experience truly memorable.

My children wanted more organized activities for kids at the hotel.
